Most of us have read the horror stories that people with bad experiences at Best Buy have had to deal with, and while I have no intention of defending a large chain when they are in the wrong or when their employees aren't trained properly, I've never allowed myself to have such high expectations of Best Buy that I could ever be disappointed. I do the majority of my shopping online now in order to save on Tax costs (I have free shipping with Amazon Prime). However, BB will always be the place I go to see a product in person or to try out a camera before ordering one online. The employees aren't paid on commission so I don't feel as though I'm screwing anyone over, and usually by the time I've driven to the store to check out a product I already know more about it than the rep does. In any case, Best Buy has a pretty decent collection of electronics for my needs and it serves its purpose of providing me with immediate gratification when I just can't wait for the two-day shipping from Amazon. The prices are a tad steep, but if you're a reward zone member you sort of make up for the difference in in-store coupons.

Best Buy is not my favorite. High pricing and low reliability sum up my experience with them.It seems that every time I try to buy something from them it's either highly priced or not at the store... even when I checked online... and called ahead... twice. Maybe it's just the stores near me but then again this has happened many times over a few years. I've given them second chance after second chance and guess what? They never come through.

Best buy, is the number one store for electoronics. When I need to buy a new electronic I always shop there first. Thank you geek squad and all best buy people for helping me find the perfict fit to my needs!

It doesn't matter which Best Buy we go to, you wil notice all of them have same superior customer service. You will be always greeted with a smile, and the sales rep are helpful in whichever department one goes in. I have never had any problems with their products, and the warranties do provide excellent service also, although I haven't had to used them, I do know of people who have and they were very satisified with the timely manner the problem was taken care of. Best Buy is one of my favorite stores to shop.

Since Best Buy came into business, it steadily became a mega giant of resources for everything electronic and more. It's a dream. Best Buy is the only place where the man would be able to go see what's hot with t.v.'s, blu rays, car systems and digital cameras and have his wife look at the microwaves, laptops, cd's and dvd's . They have more brands and choices than macy's, sears and target stores combined and if you catch an open item that has everything and works,and is much cheaper, it's like you hit the jackpot. The customer service is spot on, there's always alot of reps on the floor so whenever i need something or have a question i can usually find someone pretty fast unless they're busy helping someone else. The Geek squad are "geeks" but in a good way. They really know they're stuff and are able to help you troubleshoot or fix the damn thing, unless it's really broken. There are some things however that best buy needs to improve. There are no coupons for anything. In the circulars it seems like the items are the same price every time except for holidays. The reason Best Buy haven't totally wiped out all competition is because of this. If you made us average joe's feel like your price is already low and add to that a coupon with a percentage off or a deal that comes with it, there's no way we would try to "shop around" or "wait until the holidays". And if Best Buy had an express service like a self checkout or purchasing an item in the department you grabbed the item from would be cool rather than having to stand on the universal line. And one last thing, getting an actual printed detail of your product. I know it sounds crazy, but if along with your receipt you can get an optional print out even if it's an extra charge detailing the product you purchased, like what it does how much you saved compared to other stores, how it should work, how long it should last..something like you get when you pick up your medication at the pharmacy. Well that's my review and I hope it helps make Best buy the Best "only Buy.

The most impressive feature upon entering any Best Buy store is the number of employees AND their willingness to privide service. I dont know if they work on commission or not, but they all act as if they do...not pushy, but very willing to help. Its also nice that when buying my tv, the sales man was very knowledgeabe about all of its features and related hook ups. He offered the extended warranty plan which was nice. Ive shopped Best Buy alot in the past and Ive always had good experiences, whether it be online shopping or in the store.

I love purchasing items I've researched on-line at best buy the pricing is usually comparitive and yet I can have my item in my hand same day.

There is one issue I have with Best Buy, their associates could use some training in customer service skills and I have had issue with returning an item and being charged a 15% restocking fee because the associate failed to mention that to me when I purchased a camera that was being discontinued.

I really like the idea that I have the convenience of ordering online, but can save the shipping by picking the item up at my local store - it is there waiting for me!

Good Selection Of Products. Price is not always the cheapest.

I have been buying things like software(programs) to hardward(Computers,DVD drives,TV's, ect.. from Best Buy for years and I have never had a bad encounter with the staff or the Computer service Center. You will be given outstanding repect and I feel Best Buy is a great store to invest your hard earnings to purchase the items you need, that's all I have to say.

best buy is the best electronic store in the world at least to the one i go to.you go into the store and you can find anything electronic from washer and,gps to home theater systems,computer and guitars,it's the best experience to go in to best buy you get so overwhelmed by how much stuff is there you can try out ipods so much game system and sit down and watch movies best experience ever.i recommend everybody to go there at least once and after that you will keep coming back and the service to help you is great they help you find what you need.

I purchase an 8GB USB and filled my with Pictures for my Mom. She Use it in her Digtal Photo Frame twice and all the pictures diappeared.

I had come to look at a new plasma tv. One thing led to another and the next thing you know I had purchased another for the bedroom.The gentleman was so nice and answered all the questions. My husband is handicaped and therefore he sent me to do all the puchasing, I explained about my husband and he used my phone to talk to and reassure my husband about the deal.

It got to be Christmas time and I went back to get 2 more plasmas for the grandkids bedrooms. He was there again, and things went smoothly. I needed a large bag for the wrapping of the tv's, but didn't know the size of the box. I had gone in to the store and he was working. I told him what I needed and he got on a very tall ladder and measured a box for me. Now that was service. He even knew our names by now. Unfortunatly I have not seen him my last times in the store.

I cannot remember the gentlemans name, but if you had more like him I wouldn't be the only one sending people to Best Buy for the friendly service.

The ipod touches is a or the most genous idea that everyone can use.

Best buy has never let me down. They always have the newest technology available. Not to mention the customer service is very good. The employees are so polite and helpful, unlike other stores where you have to hunt for someone to help you. Their warrenties are a little on the expensive side, but they also have one of the best warranties I've ever seen. Accedental damage protection. You may not want to fork over $70 when you buy an iPod touch at the moment, but trust me, when you accidentally drop it or spill water on it, you'll be glad you don't have to pay full price for a new one. My sister had a Zune and the lock button was not working and she was still under warranty, but instead of replacing it and giving us another Zune, they hive us a gift card and say go choose anything you want. Now I don't know what you think, but I think that's excellent customer service. I will be looking forward to purchase a new PS3 at Best Buy. Very excellent store.

Best buy coupons really saved me a lot of money

It's very easy and there are people there that will help you find exactly what you want and if they don't have it they will keep on digging till they satisfy you.

I love this store but its customer service has its drawbacks. When I stop in the store just to browse, I feel like I get swarmed with staff asking me if I need help. After brushing each one of them off, a manager bothers me because I am opening the boxes of Ipod holders for exercsiing since the previous two I purchased from them were garbage. He basically tells me that I cant do that even though I'm destroying the box and returning the box to its original condition. He then proceeds to stand over me for 10 minutes until I make a decision. Apparently this guy thought I was going to shoplift right in his presence. Ironically, on the flipside when I'm in that store for a purchase, I can't find help within a mile radius of the store. What gives!

I love best buy. I have gone there for many years. I have so much gift cards i dont know what i will do with them. Thanks for a great store.

When I was deciding what computer I should get when I returned to school in the fall, I knew Best Buy would be the only store I had to go. I had previously purchased a larger 17" satellite toshiba laptop and was very happy with it, so I knew I wanted to get another toshiba. A worker at the Dublin, CA store named Arash helped me find the 10.1" toshiba netbook. It is the most convenient size! The battery lasts for around 6 hours and I have plenty of memory, it also is extremely light, which makes it nice and portable when I take it class to class. I am very thankful I shopped at Best Buy because with the combination of excellent products and a wonderful team of assistance I found the perfect computer!
