I must give westjet my blessing and a big thank you. My son left on Thursday jan.7 for school in montreal. This I thought was the worst day of my life. As my mother, kevyns grandmother had just went into the hospital on the the 5th.and then my son for the first time leaving home so far away left 2 days later. My mother went into the hospital with a swollen arm and on wednesday we get a call at 2:30 am they were putting her on life support. Thet told use at 4:00 am saturday morning to get the family together. I called Kev and told him that he had to come home. He was on a Westjet flight saturday morning at 6:30am. and arrived in edmonton at 1:00pm. They kepy my mother alive till Kev arrived. Kev arrived at the hospital at 1:45 and she wrote on a board I LOVE YOU and slipped into a coma and passed away Sunday at 2:35pm. The attendants on the plane were very caring to my son and let him off the plane first as time was very important. One attendant said she would pray that he would make it to her in time. Thank you, your prayer worked. There was just one problem when we called about Kev getting breavement price the girl was really rude and her words were you dont get breavement because she was not dead when Kev came home. My son was broken hearted at her comment. We did finally after a few dozen calls and a few days later. We finally got the most caring women in the world. She fixed the problem and we had such a wonderful talk for a good half hour about us getting through this terrrible time in our life. Thank you to this wonderful angel. My son went back to Montreal on the 16the and is trying to get his life back in order. But thank you westjet for caring for my son and our family. Words and prayers mean alot when this happens.

I have a travel agent and I choose to book for myself online and it was so easy! I didn't need to talk to anyone or anything! What a great experience. The flight was great too! Comfortable easy on and off and everyone was so pleasant! What an experience! I will do it again on my own more often!

I prefer WestJet as the best carrier to fly with my almost 2 years old child. They are the only company to offer us(me and my husband) 3rd seat for my child by changing our seats or moving person next to us. The flight attendants are very friendly and helpful. Don't be surprised by the funny jokes they tell during the flight. Most of the planes are new, that give me more comfort and safety feeling, as I afraid to fly. The pilots are very professional, so touch downs are not bumpy at all. The only miss is the food. No choice and not a good taste for something you have to pay for. So take your own food with you (on domestic flights). And don't forget your own headphones! I keep forgetting them so I have a big collection of them at home. ;-)

Love the service and have not been late taking off yet!!!

I have always enjoyed flying with westjet

I have travelled westjet as well as my two daughters, and my parents. We have all had terrific service, the flights have been on time. My Father has special needs which have always been taken care of in kind way. The flight prices are great and the fact that the flights we have taken are direct makes it even better.

WestJet has always been my number one pick! The staff are truly always friendly and very helpful. Flying for the first time was a scary and nerve racking experience, but once I got there I was immediately helped! Someone was there to help me with my ticket, to show me where to go, and was very considerate of my feelings. Everyone always has a smile on, and were very funny when we were waiting to board. They make the time go by very fast! Even being on the plane, again everyone was very helpful, friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. They went out of their way to make me feel like a princess and always have! I will never fly with anyone else and always recommend flying with WestJet!
