I have been buying items from LL Bean for a long time. I am afraid this is about the only online store left you can count on for quality and customer service.

Other stores have gone downhill in the quality of their merchandise and in the quality of their service. I shopped one store online for years. A couple of years ago I bought the size I usually buy when I buy a tee shirt from their store. All 6 tees did not fit though I had tees (in the same size) from the competing store hanging in my closet I left them in the bag they were sent in and placed them in my closet.

It was about 60 days later when I tried to send them back and get my money refunded. "No refund" wrote back the store, not even a store credit. I know it was my fault I did not return them after such a long period of time. I have never shopped that store again, even though they now have a local store about 2 miles from my home.

However, I understand that if I return anything at LL Bean they will refund my money or at least give me a store credit, no matter how long it takes for me to return the merchandise. Keep up the good work, LL Bean!

I got my dining room rug there, my blueberry dishes, dog beds, bed sheets and blankets, luggage, sofa and chair covers, boat 'n tote bags, portable cooler, dirty clothes bag and stand, shirts, tervis springer glasses, swimsuits, rain jacket, and towels! They stand behind their products and they are the BEST!

I purchased shoes from the catalogue for my daughter who is very active and destroys her shoes very easily because she's constantly playing and slidding. I wanted a pair a shoes that would look good with her girly clothes and still withstand the wear and tear. I have been so please at how long she has been able to wear her shoes, they are just starting to show some tears on them.
