Fun store with good selection
While the clothes and items at Hot Topic aren't for everyone, they do have a wide variety of niche items that can be hard to find anywhere else. They offer coupons quite frequently and always have a clearance available to browse.
While most of the clothing is aimed at teenagers, there are some items that anyone can enjoy. This store would be a great one to check out if you are looking for that cool t-shirt or if you're shopping for a teenager.

First, I used to shop at Hot Topic all the time. This was where I bought all of my band tees, jewelry, and other random stuff. After that, I started despising Hot Topic for how much they commercialized the "punk rock" scene. Then I turned 16 and mostly stopped shopping there because I didn't like their selection any more.
Now, I have no problem with shopping at Hot Topic stores. Their prices on band tee's is fairly reasonable, and they usually have a lot of older styles or bands that never really made it big, which is nice if I forget to pick a shirt up at a concert. Their compilation CD's are also a nice mix of music, and when they actually release one of independent artists, it's a great sampler of what to look for on smaller record labels. Their prices on things like Vans and Converse is pretty high, but they're not a shoe store. They have a nice selection of piercing jewelry, and the staff at stores is extremely helpful (I know from 2nd-hand experience that they make a point of only hiring and keeping the best employees they can, which is great for the customer).

A few years ago this store was literally a black hole but they've since brightened it up and added a broader range of products.My nephew loves this place and now I love taking him shopping here.

im 62, my daughter 16,lovestwilight. not a storei would of normally shopped.gladi did. the boy who waitedon me was very polite...store was clean andmy godfound what i wanted. i will return agin. hey moms out there!!!!! great store go there for yourteens...trust me they have what you are looking for.their items are of great quaility...and things that cant be found.i got my daughter a twilight shirt with the cashiers help , she loves it. 5stars...great
