I'm doing more and more shopping at Amazon, but they just don't have the selection and competitive pricing when it comes to home improvement. Home Depot does.

Often I will order online at HomeDepot.com and pickup in store if I need it right away (which is usually the case). This has worked must faster and easier than other stores (i.e. Walmart and Best Buy).

Finally! A store where I feel like I've been heard. I always have come home with my receipts and gone online to fill out the surveys. For a long time, I have commented on the terrible service - However! What a change has occured! I now can not say enough about how great the service has become. Everyone greets you and trys to help you that you encounter in the store. I can't thank HD enough for the improvement. I no longer feel like going to that "other store."

Of course, they also always have what I am looking for and the hours are convenient. I guess I only have good things to say.

Home Depot has some of the best painting supplies around. They carry many designer lines. Also, their tile is reasonably priced. They tend to carry very nice quality home improvement supplies. When I need to fix something around the house, I stop here.

home depot is a great hardwear store.I like it because they sell plants and hardwear it is a good store. I recomend it to anyone how is looking for hardwear.

I am very pleased with Home Depot with my recent purchase of a Toro Timecutter ZTR mower. I was able to use a 10% coupon from Lowe's to purchase this mower which saved me enough to purchase a bagger for the mower. Very pleased with the product and customer service I received while in the store. I will be purchasing my home improvement items now from Home Depot rather than Lowe's for now on. The Z4235 lives up to the reviews I found on the web. The mower runs great, cuts evenly and the new Kawasaki engine is great. I am planning to get the bagger for this mower at a later date. I can't say enough about this mower. Very Pleased.

Home Depot has a great selection of devices as well as other household fix-up items. Their paint selection is very expansive and has so many colors to choose from. I got the perfect color for the rooms in my house. I also found many power tools and regular tools to get jobs done I need to. The prices on some items can be a little high but for the most part they are reasonable.

If I was asked to write this review a year ago, it would have been much different than it is today. I shop at Home Depot almost weekly, most weeks, several times a week. A year ago, I would have driven the extra two miles or so to Lowes, but not anymore. The reason? Customer service. Before, it seemed that every time I shopped at HD, I could never find any one to help me. Things have sure changed. Now, I can usually always find someone to help me, and help well. The one thing that I wish HD had is a call button on the isles to push when you need someone, rather than having to hunt someone down. All in all, I like Home Depots selection, prices and the ease of finding things in the store. Again, the customer service at my local Home Depot has improved 100%, bringing me back to being a loyal Home Depot customer.

I use lowes pretty extensively. I plan on putting insome hard wood floors. I expect they'll everything I need. if not there is always Lowes. I will say the help is kind of scarce in both and sometimes the workers know less about your project than me.

In the 90's, Home Depot was the place to go. Big, cheap, and full of associates. Not anymore. Still big, sometimes cheap, but nearly out of associated. Not to mention customers. I wish I could like it as much as I used to. But, it isn't the same.

Home Depot has good prices.. but can sometimes have poor quality. A lof of specialty items may need to be purchased online at other stores.

Recently, I went there with a drill that had a bit stuck in it and several of the staff got involved trying to get it out. While they were not successful, I appreciated how hard they tried and their general air of courtesy and respect.

Other times I've received good advice on small projects.

One bad comment: they need to calibrate their key machines more often.

Staff is not as knowledgeable as they used to be. Prices are so-so. They re-arranged my local store and nothing makes sense. staff can't find anything.

Online site is confusing too.

Always a wonderful shopping trip. Well organized, helpful informative employees and employees will take the time to answers any questions you may have. If they don't know the answer they will find someone to help you.

What can I say??? I can tell you exactly where an item is in the store, without even going in. That should tell you how often I am there. The sales staff are ALWAYS helpful and informative. We have purchased a variety of items from appliances to paint. I have NOTHING negative to say. Prices are good, and I can usually find what I need in stock. Highly recommend.

Store in Laf on Ambas Caf. Got all the help I needed. Got excellent help from asst. manager Tony for alot of my purchases. He is a great asset to your store.

My household recently purchased a new set of appliances to replace are stone age ones. We got a great deal on washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The sales rep was amazingly willing to work with us, even suggesting ways he could match other store (like best buy) offers to make our sale the best deal we could find. The entire sales process was amazing. During delivery the vendor installed all 3 appliances the washer and dryer without any hitch. The dishwasher though had to be mounted in a specific way and the vendor did not have the appropriate hardware to do this. They left it installed but not anchored firmly, as a result we were able to use the dishwasher but if we opened the door fully it would lean forward until the door hit the floor. When we attempted to have them come back and fix it we were told by home depot to call the manufacturer and file a warranty claim. Long story short after 4 weeks of phone tag we bought screws and mounted it ourselves. Great sales process horrible service afterward.
