Everything I have purchased thus far has been excellent. Never disappointed. Would recommend not buying from Holyland selection, due to problems with customs.

amazed at the deals I recieved. Being able to put auotbid in place allowed me not to have to sit by the computer all day. The promote emails notifiying me of items i have won and the helpful people on the IT desk when I ran into problems which they fixed right way for me. Made it a wonderful experiance. I have purchased from them and a few times have come away feeling great. Products arrive and were a real bargan. Make sure you look ahead at the items, dont just make a split decision like I have. Some items are a LOT smaller than I thought they would be. Stones vary in color. I have not purchased diamonds but I would imagine that you must pay close attention to clarity and color. Shipping is high for a few pieces light pieces that arrive in an envelope. I must say they are making money off the shipping so be aware of high shipping on low priced/valued items. I will keep watching and bid when I see what I think is a bargan but again, buyer beware. Happy Hunting

This auction site has the best brand name products all under one roof and you cannot have enough money to buy them ... Great for resellers, personal use or buy as gift. I do not know any better website than this one. One thing I must say is I hate they ended the Free Shipping which I was spoiled and feel the pain now to pay for their expensive shipping. Bidz.com is a fun site to bid on jewelry and watches, unfortunately it is kind of like gambling at the same time and that is what you will feel like once you receive your purchases.

Know your 4'cs of diamonds which are cut,clarity,color and carat. Bidz.com does not rate the diamond cuts as either excellent, good, fair or poor it only gives the cut description of princess or round etc. Don't buy diamonds after the SI2 clarity grade or after J in color. As bidz.com doesn't give you the grade of the cut it is like gambling. The cut can greatly impact the look of the diamond.

The semi precious gemstones are also not graded, the only description is color and carat. I did some research on gem grading and found that over 99% of sapphires for example are commercial grade which is not for use in jewellry. One of the uses for commercial grade sapphires is road gravel to give an idea of the gem's value.Also, many stones are heat treated to change color and hide blemishes. The silver sapphire, blue topaz, ruby, emerald and amethyst rings and all cheap looking.

The brand name watches are the best buy, some have needed new batteries but that is a minimal expense. The 14K heavier weight jewellry have been good buys. The silver jewellry mostly uses low quality stones. They are genuine, but commercial grade. I purchases a 10k, 5.3 grams, solitaire diamond ring that was described as a 0.20 carat, SI2 clarity and G-H in color. The compare price was 1799 and the item is worth about $250 retail. The diamond has 2 carbon deposits that ARE visible to the naked eye. The stone should have been graded I1 in clarity.

I rec'd 2 rings stated as 10K with no 10K marking on the anywhere. 2 rings also missing a side diamond. One was returned and rec'd a full refund minus shipping back which was $6.

The photos are misleading, so look at the weights of the jewelry and ignore the compare to price, it is over-inflated by about 80 to 85% on most items.

Several of the items I rec's from bidz I would have not purchased if I had seen them first even at the low price. A few good deals on higher end watches and jewellry have made up for the cheap looking and not as described items.

I've heard different things about them. Some negative and some positive. Two of my friends have bought watches from them and didn't have any complaints. I bought a ring form them about a year ago which was good quality and recently I found a $25.00 coupon from them. I'm not really a bid spender so I dont figure to buy anything too expensive and can at least get a discount as well.

I've only used Bidz.com once but it was a great experience. I bought a gold cross that retailed at around $200 for $30.

There are three things that you should know if you are going to shop at Bidz.com.

1. If you wait until the last second to make a bid it adds time back onto the clock. (This frustrated me because the cross pendant would have been around $20 if I out bid the other person the last second).

2. You should watch out for high shipping cost. The cost to ship the cross was $10.50 (1/3 of the purchase price).

3. There is an auction fee that is added to the price total (mine was under 2 dollars).

Finally if you decide you do not want the merchandise, you can let it expire in your account and Bidz reclaims it.
